This a traditional illustration I created with one green sharpie maker yesterday.

I titled this "Those of us still hanging on by a thread."

Every  single abstract item in this piece are being held on to by a string or thread whereas everything not being held on to (the fallen like dots) are those of us who have already given up, and lost the will to keep on fighting. We let go of that thread.

This is the same exact illustration, but filtered to a different color since I like blue tones :)

Meet Reya! She is one of my OC's from the "Elvin Girls" fantasy project I am working on. I've included a speed painting below:

Today, I took on the challenge of digitally painting for the first time using Paintstorm Studio. This was a full on no sketching, and just blending brushes type of digital painting that I don't usually do. I always start off with a sketch, and then use some line art though while using Paintstorm studio instead of Photoshop I thought, "Why not try something different."

In this illustration is an alien girl radiating blasts of energy from her body.

Digital painting, phoenix girl, fire girl painting, pink alien girl comic, web comic paint, paintstorm studion vs photoshop,

It's official!

So today, I'm starting off the week with a sketched digital illustration to be since I got my new drawing tablet *happy dance.*

I got the Huion 420 (not the H). It is one of the most basic drawing tablets (it's actually meant for a game called Osu...never knew it existed until yesterday), but it's good...I guess.

I mean at least it's not possessed like the last tablet that was gifted to me. Given my lack of experience with drawing tablets I don't have much to compare the Huion 420 to besides my mouse.

It get's the job done faster than my mouse so I can't complain.
I am basically a day or two (okay, it's been like a week. Let me live) since I said I'd do a "daily sketchbook binge" on here so even though it's a little overdue here is the first set. I'm working on improving my proportions on different sizes of paper using ink.

Doodle sketchbook visualartzi. New sketchbook artwork 2018

I got a new sketchbook yesterday. I didn't like it at first since it's not as smooth to draw on with my pens, but it grew on me a little.

Do the following, and you are sure to be scammed!

Blood sweat and tears. Illustrating this was...I have no words for the horror I have experienced but I like the finished look of everything so maybe the torture was worth.

This will be the last time I’ll ever be drawing any scenes or characters from “Midnight” without a drawing tablet. I am happy to have learned how to paint with a mouse, but the struggles were too real this time.

I will most likely never do it again unless my life depends on it. I think I have carpal tunnel, and permanent back pain (no matter how many breaks I took).

Below is a video of me speed painting this piece. Enjoy!
Midnight is a current work in progress that I was painting in Photoshop, but at this point I might switch over to Illustrator for the sharper vector line work.

I wanted to create a scifi fantasy character with golden synthetic arms that could transform into killer weapons so while I was drawing in the makeshift notebook this character came to mind, and brought itself to life.

I’m still working on what I want for the background, but this is what we've got so far.

Update: Click here to see the finished look!

As promised, below is the video creation featuring me drawing/illustrating "Lotitups"
