Hey, guys today I'll be sharing all the projects I worked on which failed miserably, and didn't make the cut with the either people I worked with or myself. Some I still like while others are like, "meh."

Drumroll....

This was a book cover that I made which failed miserably. What's going on with it you ask? I don't even know. It's a horrific murderous comedy all in one.

It's been a long time coming, but I finally got a chance to upload it!

In this video I show you guys how I create a few of my coloring journal pages using canva. I have been creating, and ordering prints of my custom planner journals using blurb and canva for a while now, and thought I could share a bit of my process.

This is more so  a brief overview of what I do rather than an in depth tutorial.

I mostly use PNG images with transparent backgrounds so that I don't  have an issue combining multiple images.

I converted all the illustrations from vectors to PNG ahead of time.

Most of the wonderful images of the cute girl drawings are from Adobe Stock, but I also edited them myself so the original images won't exactly look like the ones I edited in the video, but the look will still be somewhat similar.

Thanks for watching. I hope you were inspired to create your own journal.

I was inspired, and designed this website mock up the other day in photoshop with both web, and mobile in mind.

So, I had a little free time today, and figured it's been a while since I've done a nice freebie on here so why not? Today's limited time freebie is based on my latest adventure so far into the world of women's fashion, and apparel.

So a while ago I recorded a quick black to white leggings mock up with a design in Adobe photoshop, and finally had time to edit and uploaded it today.

You've just stumbled on to 7 colorful beautiful hand illustrated starry pumpkins which come in orange, blue, gray, purple, pink, green, and red!

Today, I was a bit inspired (since I honestly was home with nothing to do) to create "digital paper patterns." I'm not sure exactly why, but for some reason these things are very popular and a lot of people buy them in bulk on sites like Etsy (maybe for things like arts, and crafts or to use as digital backgrounds...I don't know).

Anyways, I started playing around with my mouse, and adobe creative cloud (Illustrator + Photoshop) and this is what I basically came up with. They were fun to make as well.

Today I got some practice in, and designed these three illustrations in Adobe Illustrator. The first is a purple, and white gradient elephant, the second is a colorful floral wreath, and the third is a leaf patterned digital paper try-out.

I was inspired to create a colorful flaming Phoenix illustration from a few black, and white Phoenix images I saw while casually surfing the web a few days ago.

How to gain design experience as a self taught graphic designer

One of the best ways to gain some official design experience as a self taught Graphic Designer is by Freelancing.

Freelancing gives you the freedom to work with clients at your own time, and choose which graphic design projects you are comfortable working with. As you are just starting out you might want to take on the smaller projects that you know you can easily accomplish, and then progress onto bigger more complex projects. Why do so?
