I'm having a great month this month teaching classes, and working on new illustration projects but inspiration is always welcomed. Here are today's illustration finds from wonderful artists I think you guys should definitely check out.

I was listening to "Imported" by Jessie Reyez, and 6Lack on soundcloud, and this is what my fingers conjured up.

Lately I haven't been motivated to draw since there's been a lot going on in my life, and work. I am tired of bitching, and complaining about it so....here's to being lost, and getting my crap together.

I was focusing on drawing  differently in an art style that is not true to myself, but I've been drawing in a way I hate so much that when I thought about art I wanted to throw up. Art became my nightmare.

I'm done comparing myself to this unrealistic idea I have in my head. Screw it all...

That being said I'm just going to draw all the sh*t that I love my way. Thanks for reading my quick rant. Wish you all the best!

So, here I am again...

I took a break from my usual art to draw this glowing space sphynx cat tattoo. I haven't been feeling like drawing lately so this is an attempt to try to get back to drawing a few times per month. I would love to start drawing everyday, but sometimes art is frustrating. Especially when I don't know what to draw or how to draw what I think I want to draw or drawing something I'm not used to drawing. Trying new things can be very fun, but also very annoying when you don't have the patience.

This day I was feeling the moon, the stars, and the entire galaxy in one so here's this sphynx kitty in space with the moon, and stars.

Drawings of cute girls, digital art, digital painting, cute anime girl pink hair, realistic digital painting, cute girl illustration

So this is the artstyle I’ll be sticking to in 2019 (not for my comics though). Simmering Rage is the first in the “Drawings of Cute Girls” series. Today it’s artstyle as that’s what I’m working on improving. Next up will be backgrounds and scenery as I really need to work on those to improve my overall vision before continuing anymore projects.
I am basically a day or two (okay, it's been like a week. Let me live) since I said I'd do a "daily sketchbook binge" on here so even though it's a little overdue here is the first set. I'm working on improving my proportions on different sizes of paper using ink.

Blood sweat and tears. Illustrating this was...I have no words for the horror I have experienced but I like the finished look of everything so maybe the torture was worth.

This will be the last time I’ll ever be drawing any scenes or characters from “Midnight” without a drawing tablet. I am happy to have learned how to paint with a mouse, but the struggles were too real this time.

I will most likely never do it again unless my life depends on it. I think I have carpal tunnel, and permanent back pain (no matter how many breaks I took).
Midnight is a current work in progress that I was painting in Photoshop, but at this point I might switch over to Illustrator for the sharper vector line work.

I wanted to create a scifi fantasy character with golden synthetic arms that could transform into killer weapons so while I was drawing in the makeshift notebook this character came to mind, and brought itself to life.

I’m still working on what I want for the background, but this is what we've got so far.

Focus...

Yesterday I took a shot at illustrating for the first time in months in Adobe illustrator.
